01What we collect

When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, your wedding or session date and venue, and whatever you tell us about what you're looking for.

Automatically: our web server keeps standard logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. That's ordinary server housekeeping and security, not profiling.

Through analytics and advertising tags: which pages you look at, how you got here, what you click, roughly where you are from your IP address, and what kind of device and browser you're using. Section 2 sets out exactly which tools do this and who receives it.

02Analytics and advertising

We run three analytics and advertising tags on every page of this site:

Google Analytics. It tells us how many people visit, how they found us, which pages they read, how long they stay, and which links they click. It sets cookies and sends that activity to Google.

The TikTok pixel. We advertise on TikTok. This tag tells us whether the people who clicked one of our ads actually reached the page they were sent to. It sends your activity on this site to TikTok, and TikTok may also use it to decide which ads to show you.

The Meta pixel. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are both Meta. This tag does the same job as the TikTok one — it tells us whether the people who clicked one of our ads reached the page. It sends your activity on this site to Meta, and Meta may also use it to decide which ads to show you.

What these do and don't see. They record how you browse. They are not connected to your name, your email address or your phone number — we never pass those to them. If you send us those details through the contact form, that is separate, and it is covered by sections 1, 3 and 4.

Turning it off. Your browser's privacy settings, a private window, or any ad or tracking blocker will stop most or all of this. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal, but no industry standard ever defined what a website should do about it. We do not respond to it differently. California law asks us to say so plainly, so we have.

What we still don't do. We don't record or replay your visit. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. And nothing on this site sends your contact details to an advertising company.

03Why we have it

To answer you. To quote your session, plan it, and stay in touch about it. To keep our own records of who asked us for what.

We also keep a list of the venues our clients ask about, so we know the places we work. That's about venues, not about you.

04Who we see it with

Your inquiry is delivered through our own inquiry system and sent to us by our email provider. It reaches our team — Melissa, Javier, and whoever is handling bookings.

Beyond that: our accountant, our lawyers if we ever need them, anyone we're legally required to give it to, and a buyer if our business is ever sold. That's the list.

Separately, the browsing information described in section 2 goes to Google, TikTok and Meta. That is activity on this website, not the details you send us.

The companies that deliver the site. A few others are involved simply in getting the page to you, and none of them is an advertiser. Cloudflare sits in front of our site to keep it fast and online, so it sees the internet address of every visitor. The lettering on our pages is loaded from Google as the page opens, which also shows Google an internet address. The films on our Films page are stored with Backblaze and play straight from there, so it sees the internet address of anyone who plays one. Each of these can tell that a visit happened. None of them is given your name, your email address, or anything you type into our contact form.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your inquiry with advertisers.

05Marketing

If you ask us to keep you posted, or you become a client, we may email you about sessions and offers. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and it works. We don't add people who never asked.

06How long we keep it

Inquiries: we keep them while we're talking, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us — people often do, a year or two later. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Analytics: Google holds the visit-level records for 14 months, then deletes them. The totals we look at are kept as summaries after that.

If you become a client, your records are covered by the privacy policy on our booking site, which is more detailed because there's more involved.

07Keeping it safe

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, as Florida law requires. The site runs over an encrypted connection, and access is limited to people who need it.

If a breach ever affects your personal information, Florida law requires us to notify you within 30 days of determining it happened, and to notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs where it reaches 500 Florida residents. We will.

08What you can ask us for

Email us for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, deletion, or a stop to marketing. We'll take care of it.

09Children

This site is aimed at adults planning sessions. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. We photograph children often — that's arranged by their parent or guardian.

10Where your information lives

We're a Florida business and we store information in the United States.

11Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
